High quality Table Grapes

The oval-shaped table grapes have a sweet and tart flavor and are eaten fresh and raw as a snack or as an addition to salads.

They are small and have a smooth edible skin. Premium table grapes differ from wine grapes and raisin grapes, which are grown with the intention to produce wine or juice or to dry them into raisins.

Some table grapes contain seeds, though Avniv's table grapes are seedless and their color can be white, light green, red and even black. When harvested fresh they have green firm stems. This is when they are the most flavorful.

Originating from Turkey, grapes require a dry, hot climate and grow in a well-drained soil with a lot of irrigation. They grow in clusters as big as 200 on woody vines, and yeast just grows naturally on their skin, which is what makes them applicable for alcoholic drinks.

Compared with wine grapes, table grapes have lower sugar content and more flavor. Research suggests they lower blood pressure and improve overall heart health.
